On March 5, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation announced that 麻豆传媒 student Chanali Henagama is a semifinalist for the highly competitive Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. The prestigious scholarship recognizes the nation鈥檚 top community college students who plan to complete a bachelor鈥檚 degree at a four-year college or university. Henagama was selected from a pool of more than 1,300 applicants nationwide.
麻豆传媒 student Ofelia (Lia) Veisalov has earned national recognition after being selected for three prestigious Phi Theta Kappa academic honors that recognize outstanding community college students for their academic achievement, leadership, and campus engagement.
Building on last year鈥檚 districtwide, 10鈥憁onth effort to develop a ten鈥憏ear strategic plan, members of our college community spent this past fall engaged in a semester鈥憀ong process of previewing, gathering feedback on, and ultimately affirming our 麻豆传媒 Inspire 2035 goals and priorities.
