Drop-ins provide 10-15 minute sessions to ask questions and receive support with a counselor. These sessions are meant for quick questions and creating a one-semester plan. Please note the counseling center may experience higher wait times during the start of semesters and is on a first come, first served basis.

Appointments are scheduled starting at 8 am during our business hours and scheduled 7 days in advance. For example, Monday morning, appointments will be scheduled for the following Monday. Appointments are scheduled for 30 - 45 minutes but may be requested for up to 1 hour.

September, February, and March are among the best times to make an appointment. Please be aware that appointments book quickly during peak periods, such as registration and the start and end of each semester. During these times, we will have same day in-person walk-ins and callbacks available to get your questions answered.

NOTE: Appointments with Farsi-speaking counselors are limited. For a Farsi speaking counselor, please call (949) 451-5319 to arrange an appointment.

Please note the following reasons require a 1 hour appointment:

• Dismissal
• Financial Aid Appeal
• Evaluation of transcripts from another institution (not high school)
• Personal counseling
• Request an General Counseling appointment
• Request a  General counseling appointment
