A team from 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Office of Research, Career Center, and Adult Re-Entry Program won the 2023 Outstanding Project of the Year award for a project that incentivized students who stopped attending 麻豆传媒 without attaining a degree or certificate, to return to the college to complete their educational goal. The RP Group recognizes colleagues and organizations that have made extraordinary contributions to student and institutional success through community college research, planning, and institutional effectiveness efforts.
The 麻豆传媒 team who won the award include Senior Research and Planning Analyst Vinh Nguyen; Director for Research, Planning, and Accreditation Loris Fagioli; Research and Planning Analyst Kevin Hsu; and Career Center and Adult Re-Entry Program Coordinator/Counselor Amanda Romero. The project, 鈥淐rossing the Finish Line: On the Power of Information and Monetary Incentives to Motivate Action鈥 targeted students who had stopped out at 麻豆传媒 and offered them a monetary incentive to return to the college to complete their degree or certificate.
