Student member on Board of Trustees; provides student perspective and represents students across the entire District.

Leads ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ in college shared governance; presides over ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ Senate; attends monthly district board meetings and provides ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ report; serves as the student speaker for the annual commencement ceremony; and serves as a link to California community college student organizations.

Assists president with shared governance; coordinates shared governance representation of student leaders on college and district committees and task force groups.

Lead committee meetings which serve to connect clubs, official Â鶹´«Ã½ organizations, and ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ members alike. Facilitate academic opportunities for minorities and marginalized groups.

Publicizes ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ events; coordinates and serves as production team leader for all ASÂ鶹´«Ã½-sponsored publications such as flyers, posters, brochures, newsletters, and/or magazines.

Provides leadership in matters related to ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ finances and budgets. Presents budget to SOCCCD Board of Trustees and ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ during the academic year.

ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ liaison regarding local, regional, and state legislative issues.

ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ liaison to campus clubs.

Primary voting body for ASÂ鶹´«Ã½; represents student concerns to the Academic Senate; works in the development and implementation of major ASÂ鶹´«Ã½-sponsored programs and events throughout the academic year.
