The Â鶹´«Ã½ Circle K International Club attended the annual California-Nevada-Hawaii District Convention March 6 – 8 in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Circle K members from colleges across the district gathered for educational workshops, leadership training, regional elections, service projects, and to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments. The Â鶹´«Ã½ Circle K International Club proudly brought home the following awards:
- 1st Place Outstanding Club Media – Thy Pham
- Outstanding District Chair – Kristy Nguyen, Communications and Marketing
The following students were awarded through the Membership Recognition Program for their outstanding service to the community:
- Bronze (25 hours of service): Omar El Aloosy
- Silver (45 hours of service): Kristy Nguyen
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Circle K International Club has performed over 200 hours of community service over the past year. The club would like to thank the Irvine Kiwanis and ASÂ鶹´«Ã½ for their financial support to attend this year’s convention. The club meets biweekly on Wednesdays at 5 pm in BSTIC 116.
